The last post here was about our mental health, I’m sure we learnt a lot and we are putting it to practice, great馃挴

Today we will be discussing SELF CARE

~How we can pay attention and give attention to ourselves as we often give attention to our kids, husbands, boyfriend, fianc茅, relatives, the whole household and the whole nation at large 馃槄 pheeewwa 馃槗馃槬 that鈥檚 a lot of attention giving!

Wait! That鈥檚 if you are not a die hard attention seeker like me馃槄

~We will also discuss how we can get comfortable in our own space attending to ourselves by ourselves before we faint from not getting enough attention as we want 馃槄馃槀馃槀

Just incase you are like me you aren鈥檛 alone and if you are someone who forgets herself trust me you aren鈥檛 alone either馃ズ鉂わ笍

First we need to know that the idea of focusing on yourself isn鈥檛 as self-centered as it sounds. In fact, it鈥檚 one of the best things you can do for your well-being.

Has anyone here experienced just being irritated by everything, almost lashing out at any scape goat and generally just not in the mood for anything??

It鈥檚 not hormones every time oh, it may just be that you have exhausted yourself from giving and caring for others.

What can we do about this 馃


It鈥檚 important that we stop a minute and pay attention to ourselves. We mustn鈥檛 wait to get the care and attention from anyone else even our partners and family members, we shouldn鈥檛 wait till someone tells us sef!


I know, you are busy, and finding the time to take proper care of yourself can be hard. But if you don鈥檛, it won鈥檛 be long before you鈥檙e battered from exhaustion and operating in a mental fog where it鈥檚 hard to care about anything or anyone.

In other wards you can become cranky and unpleasant when you don鈥檛 take care of yourself.


Picture yourself as a child, children love treats and will do anything to get one, your body will work better for you if it knows it will be rewarded, trust me it works.


Dear sister, whatever will steal your peace does not deserve you. Say this five times – Whatever will steal my peace does not deserve me馃拑馃徏.

Know that you are loved, you deserve to be loved, that body deserves love, care, pamper just name it.
