Life was easier as kids.
We woke to meet breakfast already prepared, lunch box already packed and uniform ironed.
We demanded for whatever we wanted without worries of how it will be provided.
Now I am thinking of what to wear to service tomorrow, as a child I did not have to worry as I knew that would be taken care of by my mother.
We did not need to think about too much, our concerns were our dolls, toys and friends.
Everything we needed was taken care of which included our food, clothing and shelter.
Growing up is totally different.
Things seem fun at first, then it gets hard, then frustrating. We give up, we start all over, we get ideas, we fail, we win, we move.
At this point we just want to make everything right, we want to be on track, meet right people and make money . Then we forget ourselves.
We forget to take care of our mental health, no time for self love, no time to rest, no time to do what we really want to do, no time to play, no time to check time.
It is important that in all we do we take care of ourselves so we do not loose ourselves, remember we had dreams as kids.
. Exercise regularly (yoga is good for the mind, it eases stress, increases blood flow and helps breathing)
. Get plenty of sleep
. Eat a Mediterranean diet
. Stay mentally active
. Remain socially involved

My own is I’ve enjoyed this trial version of adulting I want to return it, lemme go back to being a child.๐๐๐.
When we were kids, we couldn’t wait to grow up oooo and now our eyes have seen and ears heard the goodness of being an adult.
