You Need Loyalists.
How are you today? I hope you are well and thriving. It’s been a year of growth for me and trust me when I say this is my best year yet!
Let’s talk about FRIENDSHIP today. I know this means a lot to some of us. Mang have very scary stories about friendship and they have taken decisions to stay alone instead. Trust me, I get it, I have had a few betrayals too. But, that mindset is not one to keep, renew it and pray for genuine friends. You were not destined to do life alone and you sincerely cannot work in isolation. Do I understand your plight? Oh, Yes, I do! I just don’t want you to think everyone has the same heart as the last person who brought you pain, hurt, and tears. There are still good people out there.
The only advice I will give you today is to look carefully for LOYALIST moving forward. I will tell you who they are and who you need them in a minute. But, let’s state this fact here, you don’t need too many friends. If you have 2 sincere persons in your life who love, care, and respect you, it is okay!
Now, who are Loyalists?
- They are trusted people
- They have your back, in your presence or absence
- They can never backstab you
- Their support is genuine
- They mean well for you and don’t pretend to like you.
They make life easier, better, and FUN! You don’t second-guess where you stand with them. You know they have your back as you have them. I pray you find your loyalist soon enough.
Please, you don’t need the crowd. Take some time to declutter and rearrange your friends. This is very important as you progress with life. Choose carefully and wisely. Please, don’t forget to look out for this attribute when selecting who makes it to your inner circle.
