BURNOUTS….
I have been experiencing burn out lately and I’m sure I am not the only person feeling this way at the moment. Let’s talk!
First things first, how are you doing? I hope well.
As women, we can alsmost not run away from this feeling. Oftentimes, we just don’t acknowledge the feeling, we either call it something else, or ignore the feeling. You really don’t have to ignore the feeling. Pay attention to it and help yourself.
Here are ways to identify BURNOUTS… But, what is burnout?

Burnout is a state of physical, mental and emotional exhaustion. It can occur when you experience long-term stress and feel under constant pressure.
Burnout: Symptoms, Management, and Prevention | Psych Central
In psychology, burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged or excessive stress. It’s often linked to work-related stress but can also occur in other areas like caregiving or relationships. Burnout is characterized by feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and reduced professional efficacy.
Types of burnouts

These are four types of burnouts:
Overload burnout: This happens when you work harder and harder, becoming frantic in your pursuit of success. If you experience this, you may be willing to risk your health and personal life to feel successful.
Under-challenged burnout: This happens when you feel underappreciated and bored. Maybe your job doesn’t provide learning opportunities or have room for professional growth. If you feel under-challenged, you may distance yourself, become cynical, and avoid responsibilities.
Neglect burnout: This happens when you feel helpless. If things aren’t going right, you may believe you’re incompetent or unable to keep up with your responsibilities. Such burnout can be closely connected to imposter syndrome, a psychological pattern in which you doubt your abilities, talents, or accomplishments.
Burnout manifests in various ways, encompassing emotional, physical, and behavioral symptoms. Individuals experiencing burnout may feel emotionally drained, have a decreased sense of accomplishment, and become cynical about their work or other aspects of their lives. Physically, they might experience fatigue, headaches, stomach problems, and sleep disturbances. Behaviorally, burnout can lead to reduced performance, increased irritability, social withdrawal, and even substance abuse as a coping mechanism.
